The era of relying on heating in the north and shaking in the south has gradually disappeared. Even if central heating is still unavailable in the south, there is a heating device called a wall-hung boiler, which is convenient, flexible, healthy, comfortable, and suitable for heating. Therefore, many people choose to use gas wall-hung boilers in areas without central heating. A wall-hung boiler is a sophisticated device integrating water and electricity, and its safety is extremely important. Today, Brother Song will share with you some safety knowledge and energy-saving skills for using wall-hung boilers, allowing you to enjoy a warm and comfortable life in the upcoming cooling season. The specified gas type (natural gas, manufactured gas, liquefied petroleum gas, biogas, etc.) on the product nameplate label must be used; it cannot be universally used. 2. Wall-hung boilers should be installed in the kitchen or enclosed balcony, but not in the bathroom or bedroom. When the ambient temperature might freeze, the boiler must be powered on. In standby mode, as long as the gas is clear, the main circulation pipes are unobstructed, and the heating system is under normal water pressure, the anti-freeze function and pump anti-interference protection of the wall-hung boiler will work. If any of the above conditions are not met, the wall-hung boiler, pipes, and radiators may be damaged due to freezing, or even cause safety accidents. In winter, if there is a prolonged power outage or if you do not live at home for a long time, and the environment is likely to freeze, you should drain the water from the heating system to prevent freezing damage. 4. For supplementary pressure of 1.0 - 1.5bar, please close the make-up valve; otherwise, the overpressure safety valve of the heating system will continuously leak, which may saturate indoor items. If the pressure is too high during water replenishment, water can be drained through the drain valve or bleed valve on the radiator. When the wall-hung boiler is operating, the pressure will rise, which is a normal phenomenon caused by water expansion during heating. Most wall-hung boilers have overpressure protection and pressure reduction devices. When the system pressure exceeds the normal value, the user will be prompted to reduce the pressure. Improper installation of the wall-hung boiler's flue gas exhaust system can lead to flue gas backflow and incomplete combustion. Incomplete combustion can cause indoor oxygen deficiency and affect user health. Therefore, it is recommended to use the original piping when installing a wall-hung boiler, and the installation position of the flue must not be changed arbitrarily. If you move or need to change the installation position, you need to contact professional maintenance personnel for on-site handling. Most household wall-hung boilers are installed in the kitchen, but other appliances such as refrigerators, ovens, and induction cookers are often also placed in the kitchen. These household appliances emit strong radiation. When using appliances with strong radiation, try to keep a certain distance from the wall-hung boiler to avoid affecting its normal operation.
